  • The Flotilla: The Brisbane River/Maiwar will flow rainbow as a fabulous flotilla of boats—from grand yachts to adorned paddleboards—cruises from West End to the Brisbane Powerhouse, turning the water into a moving, glittering spectacle of pride.
  • The River Pride Picnic: You don’t need a boat to join the party! Head to New Farm Park for the free, family-friendly River Pride Picnic from 12pm to approximately 3pm. You’ll get front-row seats to the parade’s grand finale, complete with market stalls, food trucks, performances, and more, as the boats dock.

Plus, you can still catch the Melting Pot pop-up venue at Brisbane Powerhouse, which is set to be a riot of late-night performance, music, and full-spectrum queer energy!

🎤 Sunday: A Thousand Voices and a Fond Farewell

The festival closes on Sunday, November 9 with a momentous and emotional event:

  • 1000 Voices: Be part of history as Melt culminates in a powerful, unforgettable choral event. Over a thousand singers from LGBTQIA+ and Pride Choirs across Australia and New Zealand will unite in song for a spectacular performance, creating a rainbow harmony of voices—a truly powerful celebration of community and unity.

This weekend is your last chance to experience the bold, beautiful, and boundary-pushing heart of the Melt Festival. Don’t miss the final days of this spectacular celebration of art, identity, and pride!
