Bloom on Baxter: where coffee and customer service don’t get any better!

Nestled on the corner of Baxter Street and St Pauls Terrace in Fortitude Valley, Bloom on Baxter is not just a cafe; it’s an experience crafted with a genuine passion for quality customer service, top-notch coffee and a great range of cafe meals and treats (Ali’s handmade vanilla cupcakes are a stone-winner). Owned by a lovely couple, Ali and Mahsa, this cozy cafe has become a community favourite since they took the reins in September 2023.

Opening at 7 AM, Monday to Friday, you can’t miss the delicious aromas of the freshly ground Blackstar coffee beans filling the air. Ali and Mahsa’s days begin early making wraps, toasted sandwiches, and an array of other culinary delights fresh and daily. Ali handles the espresso machine while Mahsa holds the fort at the shopfront, taking orders and ensuring every customer leaves smiling.

Blackstar coffee takes centre stage at Bloom on Baxter. With its robust and dark flavour profile that’s not overly bitter. If you drop in at Bloom, be sure to try the crowd-pleaser – the chicken and avocado wrap, an oldie but a goodie that has customers returning for more.

Located at 398 St Pauls Terrace, the cafe invites you to unwind on its outdoor furniture and immerse yourself in the city’s rhythm, sipping your coffee and indulging in something sweet or savoury. It’s the perfect spot to observe the ebb and flow of Brisbane’s inner-city region, with people and cars weaving through the main thoroughfare.

For Ali, this cafe is more than a business; it’s a labour of love and his first solo venture. After a meticulous search spanning 6-7 months, he found Bloom, recognizing its potential as more than just a coffee shop. Location, for him, was critical to the success of the business, and Bloom has become a hub where people gather for more than just a cup of coffee.

Ali and Mahsa have seamlessly woven their values into the fabric of Bloom on Baxter. The cafe isn’t just a place to grab a quick bite; it’s a community hub fostering connections over top-notch coffee and genuine, optimistic communication. Their generous and upbeat customer service has turned patrons and first-timers alike into regulars.

So, if you’re looking for more than just a caffeine fix and arguably one of the friendliest customer-service experiences, make your way to Bloom on Baxter.
