Yes Boone's Moody New Single Is Bringing Him to the Gold Coast This December

Sydney producer Yes Boone has just dropped his first release since signing with Warner Music Australia and Warner Records US — and Brisbane fans get a genuine chance to see the new material live, with Yes Boone confirmed for Spilt Milk's Gold Coast leg this December.

The single, "Nosebleeds", is a deliberate change of direction — a stadium-sized blend of French house with a darker, post-punk edge that nods to The Cure and The Smiths. It's also the first time Yes Boone has put his own voice and lyrics front and centre.

"'Nosebleeds' is about the infatuation you feel early on in a relationship, and all the dramatic uncertainty that comes with it," he says. "There's something theatrical about it that I'm trying to capture with the music. I wrote it during a period in London and Paris, which feels like the respective homes of the vocal style and the production choices. It took a little while to find my voice, to sing on my own tracks, and to put my own words to the music for the first time."

The signing itself was revealed to industry guests at Warner's Listen Up Showcase. Dan Rosen, President of Warner Music Australasia and Southeast Asia, backed it in strong terms: "Yes Boone is a brilliant artist and producer at the vanguard of Australia's electronic music scene. I am thrilled to welcome him to the Warner Music family and to launch this next phase of his career and global trajectory."

It's not a hard case to make. Yes Boone's path here started with early releases on SoundCloud and a DJ mix competition win in his final year of high school — he joined a live band straight after, before going on to rack up more than 11 million streams, support from triple j and BBC Radio, and stage time alongside Diplo, Dom Dolla and Martin Garrix. His 2025 debut EP, Best I've Found, was the first real signal of an artist building toward something bigger — "Nosebleeds" and the Warner deal look like exactly that.

Yes Boone's 2026 touring schedule kicks off at Yours & Owls Festival in Wollongong on 4 October, before a run of Spilt Milk dates through December — including Sunday 13 December at Spilt Milk Gold Coast, on a bill that also features Lewis Capaldi, RAYE, Baby Keem and DMA'S at the Gold Coast Sports Precinct.
