Get ready for a frighteningly good time! Brisbane is brewing up a cauldron of Halloween fun in 2025 with events ranging from themed mini-golf to huge street festivals. Here are the top five ways to celebrate in the River City, including links to plan your fright night:
Swing your way through a wickedly decorated fun-filled golf course at Victoria Park. This long-running, frighteningly enjoyable activity runs from September 19th to November 2nd and is perfect for all ages. The course is fully licensed, and parents can play at kids' prices when playing with children aged 4–17.
For two nights, South Bank transforms into a free, family-friendly festivity on Friday and Saturday, October 31st to November 1st, from 5 pm. The event features a spooky scavenger hunt (pre-registration recommended), a ghost train, Halloween-themed markets, and an outdoor cinema screening classics like Casper and The Addams Family.
Wynnum Central hosts its fourth annual parade and street party on Saturday, October 25th, starting at 3 p.m. Enjoy markets, food trucks, kids' rides, a Trick-or-Treat Trail, and the highlight: the main parade at 5:30 pm, preceded by the compulsory pre-registered Best Dressed Competition.
Step into a unique, immersive experience at Hologram Zoo, Cannon Hill, and travel through haunted castles, spooky forests, and cursed villages filled with holographic creatures. Recommended for ages 9 and up, this attraction features werewolf transformations, Dracula's Castle, and the chance to fly on a witch's broom.
Head to Redcliffe Parade on Saturday, October 25th, from 4 pm to 9 pm for a massive, free twilight market. The festival includes over 200 market stalls, gourmet street food, a pirate scavenger hunt, live entertainment, and a Best Dressed Competition. The event is free and pet-friendly.
