Father's Day is closing in, and Noosa Chocolate Factory reckons it's got every kind of dad, father figure and role model covered — handmade, and mostly made right here in Australia.

The range runs from handcrafted chocolate slabs in flavours like Rum & Raisin, Mocha and Chilli, through to chocolate-coated fruit and nuts, and factory specialties like Rocky Road and Peanut Brittle. But the detail worth knowing about is the comeback of Noosa Chocolate Factory's handmade chocolate moustaches ($5 each) — three flavours (milk, dark and caramel) and three styles, so there's genuinely a 'stache to suit whichever dad you're shopping for.

For anyone after something more substantial, the gift hampers are where it gets interesting. Pre-packaged hampers come in four sizes — small ($44), medium ($75), large ($105) and extra-large ($155) — while custom-designed hampers, built around whatever your dad actually likes, run small ($51.50), medium ($82.50), large ($112.50) and extra-large ($162.50).

How to get one in time

Order online for in-store collection and allow 3 business days. Hand delivery is also available within a 10km radius of each store (Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm) for an extra $20 on orders over $50 — though Noosa Chocolate Factory doesn't ship interstate, so it's a Queensland-only affair. Custom hampers ordered in-store follow the same rough timeline, generally ready for collection within a few days.

Noosa Chocolate Factory has stores at Adelaide Street in Brisbane, Westfield Chermside, Sunshine Plaza and the original Noosaville factory, with a fifth store opening on Hastings Street, Noosa in October.
