MJ the Musical Is Heading to Tokyo — and It All Started Here

MJ the Musical has just announced its next chapter: a January 2027 launch of its International Asian Tour, opening at Tokyu Theatre Orb in Tokyo. It's a fitting next stop — the show arrives in Japan more than three decades after Michael Jackson's historic run at Tokyo Dome.

For local audiences, it's a nice bit of closure — MJ took its final Australian bow earlier this year after sold-out seasons across the country, Brisbane included.
