Brisbane's inner-city voice since 2014
Laneway 2027 hits Brisbane Showgrounds on 13 February with tickets now on general sale, and Rachel Chinouriri's second album lands on 16 October. Plus Bruno Mars at Suncorp Stadium, 28 February and 1 March.
Brisbane's summer gig calendar is filling up fast. Laneway's tickets are now on sale, and Warner says Bruno Mars's two Suncorp nights are sold out.
Rachel Chinouriri is confirmed for the Brisbane day, and she has a reason to be loud about it: her second album, I think I spoke too soon, arrives on Friday 16 October. Her new single "Broken chair" is a wobbly, late-night confession about partying and drinking, written in Los Angeles with Lucy Dacus. Chinouriri says working with Dacus helped: "she almost reassured me that I am more than enough just being who I am". Her own headline shows are in Sydney and Melbourne, so Laneway is her Brisbane date.
The rest of the 2027 line-up is out. Fontaines D.C. and Hayley Williams sit at the top, with pop acts like Kim Petras, MUNA and Slayyyter, plus homegrown producer Ninajirachi, further down the bill, so check the day-by-day line-up before you buy. Brisbane's day is Saturday 13 February at the Brisbane Showgrounds, the day after the festival opens in Sydney, and it's a 16+ event.
The practical part is the timing. The Laneway presale ran on Wednesday 7 October and general sale opened on Thursday 8 October, both at 11am in Brisbane, so head to the official Laneway ticketing page to see what's left.

Bruno Mars brings The Romantic Tour to Suncorp Stadium for two nights, Sunday 28 February and Monday 1 March 2027. Tyla is the special guest, and Anderson .Paak will play as DJ Pee .Wee. Tickets are through Ticketmaster.
The tour has been building all year. His album The Romantic debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and he has just released the video for "Dance With Me", which features Karol G, the duet partner on "Still", the song we covered in August. Warner Music describes the Australian and New Zealand stadium dates as sold out, so check Ticketmaster for any returns.
Dates and times can change, so check the official ticketing pages before you plan.
