Brisbane's inner-city voice since 2014
Industry Beans' Newstead roastery turns seven with a limited-edition gold-dusted Tiramisu Float and a free sample of its house espresso blend from 29 October to 30 November.
Industry Beans Newstead is turning seven, and the roastery is marking the milestone with a gold-dusted Tiramisu Float and a free sample of its house blend for guests throughout Birthday Month.
The limited-edition float is a return of one of the cafe's signature drinks, a creamy espresso creation now finished in gold dust. It is available at the Newstead roastery from 29 October to 30 November.

Across the same weeks, anyone who makes a purchase at Newstead also takes home a free 80g sample of the Newstead Espresso Blend, one per person while stocks last. The blend was developed for the venue's 2019 opening and is now the house espresso at Newstead and its sister venue, Adelaide St. It is 60 per cent Brazilian Rancho Fundo and 40 per cent Ethiopian Hambela, roasted on site.

"We roast it right here at Newstead," said Nathaniel Crank, Wholesale Manager at Industry Beans Newstead. "The Brazilian Rancho Fundo gives it a rich cacao and hazelnut base, and the Ethiopian Hambela adds bright blueberry on top. It's a great one to take home and get to know."
Newstead opened in 2019 as the brand's first Queensland venue and has since become its flagship, a converted warehouse that combines a working roastery, a full-service cafe and a retail space.
Co-founder Trevor Simmons said the birthday was a way to thank the community behind the venue from day one. "Newstead was our first home in Brisbane, and for seven years it's been the heart of what we do in Queensland and Northern NSW," he said. "This community welcomed us from day one, so this birthday is really a thank-you to them."
Industry Beans began in Fitzroy in 2013, founded by brothers Trevor and Steve Simmons, and now runs seven venues in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
