Cara Delevingne has released her new single "Crazy, Baby" via Warner Records, alongside the announcement that her debut album, Not Normal, arrives September 25.
The track was written by Delevingne with Sarah Aarons (Tame Impala, Gracie Abrams, Zedd), Sammy Witte (Harry Styles) and BJ Burton (Bon Iver, Charli xcx), with Delevingne co-producing alongside Burton. Its accompanying video, directed by Bradley J. Calder, stars Delevingne alongside Samara Weaving in a romance that unravels into something far from what it first appears.
It's the latest in a run of singles that's built real momentum since June, when "I Forgot" and "Out of My Head" landed to strong reviews — Rolling Stone called them "ambitious," Nylon said they were "unlike anything else you'll hear this year." A third single, "Need It," co-written with friend and mentor Fiona Apple, followed soon after.
Delevingne has spent the (northern) summer on the road in support, playing Primavera Sound in Barcelona and wrapping sold-out shows in LA and Brooklyn, with more festival dates — including Primavera's Buenos Aires and São Paulo editions — still to come.
Not Normal is out September 25 via Warner Records. "Crazy, Baby" is streaming now.
