Bob Evans Brings Suburban Songbook Home for a 20th Anniversary Tour — Playing Brisbane This October

Twenty years on from its original release, Bob Evans' beloved album Suburban Songbook is out now in a special 20th Anniversary Edition, remastered and available digitally and on limited edition "gold nugget" vinyl. Bob Evans is the solo alias of Kevin Mitchell, best known as the frontman of Perth rock band Jebediah — and Brisbane gets to hear his solo work the way it was meant to be heard, in full and in order, with a full band, when the anniversary tour lands at Crowbar on Friday 23 October.

Originally released in 2006, the ARIA Award-winning Suburban Songbook delivered enduring favourites including "Don't You Think It's Time," "Nowhere Without You," "Don't Walk Alone" and "Sadness & Whiskey." The new edition features previously unreleased demos Evans recorded in his Perth rental between 2003 and 2006.

The tour opened in Perth in September and continues through Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney this October — Bob Evans is also partnering with climate impact agency FEAT on the run, with a $1 "Solar Slice" from every ticket helping fund biodiversity restoration on Lungtalanana Island, Lutruwita/Tasmania.
