Beachfront Festival Features 120+ Artisan Stalls and Outdoor Cinema on December 12th & 13th
Surfers Paradise is set to host two nights of spectacular Christmas celebrations next weekend, combining its iconic Twilight Markets with free Christmas movies and fireworks displays. The Surfers Paradise Esplanade will transform into a sparkling festive destination on Friday, December 12th, and Saturday, December 13th, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The extended event offers double the opportunity to spread holiday happiness, with over 120 stalls overflowing with unique artisan creations and handcrafted gifts—the perfect finds for ticking off the Christmas list.
Flick, Fire, and Festivities
Once shopping is complete, the festivities continue on the sand. The Gold Coast City Council is bringing a spectacular outdoor cinema experience near the Surfers Paradise sign each evening:

In addition to the shopping, movies, and fireworks, the markets will feature Santa sightings, festive decorations, and roving performers, promising entertainment for the whole family.
Bonus: The Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets will continue to operate all summer long every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM, including Christmas Eve.
