Moreton Bay’s Largest Festive Event Returns to the Esplanade on December 13th
Redcliffe Parade will transform into a festive seaside wonderland as the iconic Redcliffe Markets Christmas Twilight returns on Saturday, December 13th, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Dubbed “Moreton Bay’s most anticipated event,” the evening promises a true-blue Queensland Christmas experience right by the water.
This year’s market is set to feature over 250 artisan stalls filled with handmade gifts, making it a one-stop shop for ticking off the Christmas list. Attendees can wander through the twinkling lights while sampling gourmet street eats and festive drinks from some of South East Queensland’s best vendors.
North Pole Meets the Peninsula
The headline attraction is a unique Queensland photo opportunity:
- Real Reindeers: Straight from the North Pole, real reindeers will be available for meet-and-greets and holiday selfies under the twinkling lights.
- Santa Snaps: Fresh from his long journey, Santa Claus will be on-site, ready for festive photos with market-goers.
A Sleigh-Full of Entertainment
The market is packed with family entertainment to spread holiday cheer. Visitors can expect:
- Live Music: Enjoy performances from the TRACE Cover Band and join in the festive spirit with the Christmas Choir.

Note on Fireworks: Organisers have confirmed that, due to restrictions associated with nesting birds in the Moreton Bay area, the Christmas Twilight Markets will NOT include a fireworks display this year.
